Prolife eh? To those who don’t know what pro-life is, pro-life is a movement of a group of Filipino people who are anti-abortion and anti-artificial birth control methods. Yes they are not in favor of your PILL. Meaning, they only support natural family planning. Of course, we all know that this doesn’t always work. Plus, they don’t care if you spread STDs, no condoms either.
Are you so pro-life that
1) You’d rather see a mother of 17 children lose her children to disease and starvation than support birth control
2) You’d rather see our environment being depleted by overpopulation than support artificial contraception
3) You’d rather watch children eat from garbage cans and beg for money, be sold to human traffikers than … you know the continuation for this statement
4) You’d rather keep people poor by making them compete for scarce resources than helping them be a productive part of society
5) You’d rather keep the population dumb by not providing enough education for a growing population and limit resources rather than limit population growth
6) You’d rather sacrifice the health of mothers and children just because the Church says so than having your own opinion and backbone
Yes, you are pro-life, but you are against better quality of life for people especially the poor out there. Stop living in your own selfish bubble and start waking up to the reality that the Philippines and her people are in trouble. You are selfish enough to want people to suffer than alleviate their pain. You are no Jesus to them.
You are killing our mothers and our children, slowly but surely. Mothers who are the “ilaw ng tahanan” and the children that are “ating kinabukasan”. Make them suffer and you’ll reap what you sow. Pro-life? Really? I’m sorry for the women who are your sacrificial lambs of for their children who will bare the scars of your selfish actions.
Yeah, she’s pretty, cute, anime-like, but there’s something different about this girl. Here’s some reasons why I am a fan of Alodia. Maybe because I see so many things that inspire me, that also inspired her.
1. She’s not JUST a pretty face - Yes people, it’s easy for girls to be cute. That’s what girls do best. I worked in San Francisco and it never ran out of beautiful women. So I’m accustomed to looking at pretty faces. But Alodia has the x-factor that’s missing in a lot of pretty girls. She doesn’t even need to wear sexy outfits for people to notice her.
2. Because she’s a gamer - She’s a true blue gamer. I love girl gamers, especially the nice ones.
3. She is an artist - I love art, what more can I say? Her works are just eye candy to me. More More More! Cosplays, sketches, I don’t care, I want more!
4. She is a musician - I struggled with playing the piano and guitar, but she makes it look like a piece of cake. Music is a huge part of my life, and I love musicians!
5. She loves actions figures - Who doesn’t? Oh yeah, those Barbie doll lovers. Screw them! Action figures rule!
6. She is smart and knows how to use the internet - Of course, her fan base is largely found on the net. She uses the net to promote her and her works.
Yes, I still collect toys and action figures, because as a child, I only had Barbies. I don’t like Barbies. I wanted G.I. Joes and X-men action figures. Check out my first collection.
World of Warcraft action figures. I only have 4, Series 2 just came out. I was clueless about it until I saw it on the shelf of the local toy store.

My guinea pig peanut was euthanized today. A week ago, we noticed he was losing a lot of weight. And we took him to the vet, he lost almost half of his body weight in a small amount of time. He wasn’t eating much. The vet didn’t know what to do either, she asked to do a series of tests that would cost $700+ dollars and they’re not sure if they’d find the source. We can’t afford $700 for a guinea pig especially when we’re preparing for my son to come over from the Philippines this month. We waited for a week before finalizing the decision, because we were hoping he’d still get better. But Peanut didn’t, he would try to eat, and then sit on a corner for hours. We tried feeding him critical guinea pig care, but it was only a short term solution. He can’t eat on his own. The vet said that his teeth were fine, but he had a hard time chewing.
Here’s a little history about Peanut. I bought him from PetCo (a pet store chain in the US) together with another guinea pig (Clover), and that was probably a bad decision. There’s a lot of stories about PetCo not taking care of their pets and selling sickly pets. A few months after we bought Clover and Peanut, Clover began to shed like crazy. And zoom, off to the vet for the first time. Clover had mites, so he and Peanut got some shots for the mites and some anti-biotics with it too. That cost us around $1000 for the whole treatment. How can Clover have mites when he’s an indoor guinea pig? I was just baffled. And now, I just lost my Peanut. I miss him so bad. I didn’t even go to the vet, my boyfriend took him because I can’t take it.
The thing that keeps me going is that, I know there’s a cavy heaven for my Peanut. And he brought so much happiness in my life, and I hope I did the same for him. Peanut is a natural trouble maker, and I miss him dearly. I’m currently looking for an animal to adopt, and give them a good home. There’s a lot of animals out there that need love, and that’s one reason why I’m moving on.
Can someone convince me to get Grand Theft Auto 4? The game looks very interesting, but I get too sensitive about carjackings and shootings. Why? Because I live near Oakland, Richmond and San Francisco where these things are REAL. Just go to sfgate.com and look up the murders and carjackings from these cities in the past few years. I do like some violent games like God of War, but ancient Greece doesn’t exist anymore. How can I detach myself from reality and just enjoy GTA4? Help!
Oh and about Metal Gear Solid 4, since it was bundled with the 80GB PS3 that we got, I tried it out. I have no idea what Metal Gear Solid is. So I tried to get a taste of what it was about, and then came the big robots. Yes scary bad robots. And they sound like COWS!!!! For crying out loud! You make robots sound like cows? Are you kidding me, and I was laughing my a** off for the rest of the night. Moooooooooo!! If I don’t like Metal Gear Solid 4, maybe I’ll give it away to a hardcore fan who can tolerate mooing robots.
